12/19/23: Celebrating Community Impact in Action

At the December Board of Trustees meeting, the Arcadia Educational Foundation (AEF) proudly presented Jenny Liu, owner of Olympus Escrow, with a recognition plaque in honor of her exceptional contribution to the creation of the You & Me Community Grant. Thanks to Jenny's gracious support, AEF will establish a ten-year grant fund aimed at promoting learning and community service among Arcadia Unified School District (AUSD) students. We are deeply grateful for Jenny’s generosity, altruism, and unwavering dedication to the community.

“Congratulations to Jenny Liu for receiving a well-deserved award from the Arcadia Education Foundation! Her involvement in the You and Me Community grant program inspires students to engage in community-based projects and makes a positive impact. She knows a thing or two about making a positive impact in our community. As the owner of Olympus Escrow in Downtown Arcadia and a dedicated DAIA board member, Jenny always goes above and beyond supporting the school district, the small business community, local events, and programs.” - Downtown Arcadia

In addition to honoring community leadership, AEF was thrilled to present the Arcadia High School PTSA with a $6,000 contribution to help fund the Class of 2024 Grad Nite at Disneyland California Adventure. The current senior class missed their middle school promotion ceremonies due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and AEF is proud to help ensure they enjoy a magical and memorable celebration to mark this milestone.

We invite you to join us at our next AEF Board of Trustees public meeting on Tuesday, February 20, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
