Arcadia Community Unites to Provide Wildfire Recovery Relief

The recent devastating wildfires have profoundly affected many Arcadia Unified School District (AUSD) staff and families, leaving them to face unexpected loss and challenges. During this difficult time, the strength and generosity of our community have come together in an inspiring show of support.

Through the collaborative efforts of the Arcadia Educational Foundation (AEF), Downtown Arcadia Improvement Association, AUSD, AUSD PTSAs, and the Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation (APAF), a heartfelt fundraising campaign was launched to aid those affected by the fires. Thanks to incredible support from donors near and far, $154,888.88 has been raised to provide immediate relief to those impacted within our school community. The funds will be distributed directly to support families’ urgent needs and ongoing recovery efforts, providing much-needed financial assistance for housing, clothing, and essential supplies. Community members also demonstrated their spirit through volunteer efforts and donation drives at local centers, helping to provide clothing, food, and other essentials to those displaced.

The Arcadia Educational Foundation remains committed to supporting AUSD families and staff through this challenging time. Together, we are rebuilding not just homes, but lives and hope.
